Dr. Tayyaba Tariq is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing & Information Technology, University of the Punjab, Lahore. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of the Punjab and an MS in Computer Science from NUCES-FAST. Her teaching and research interests include Computer Vision, Medical Image Analysis, Deep Learning, Software Engineering, and Software Quality Assurance. Her recent research focuses on automated knee osteoarthritis classification from X-ray images using deep learning, Vision Transformers, and ordinal classification techniques. She has published research in areas including explainable AI and intelligent medical image analysis.
